Master Strickland

Master Strickland is the owner and master instructor of the Cincinnati Martial Arts Club. His reputation span over 40 years as a teacher, competitor, motivator and bully prevention specialist. His journey began in 1973 with Mr. Mike Gardner the founder of the CMAC. Mr. Gardner was the inspiration behind the innovative and unique teaching methods Master Strickland uses with children and adults as well.

Master Strickland believes in creating a well round student by teaching them self-defense, fitness and character development such as respect, determination and confidence.

Master Strickland believes in giving back to the community and the city by doing seminars, enrichment days, boy scouts, girl scouts and after school programs.

In 1981 Master Strickland began researching teasing and bullying and with the help of Mr. Steve Durham in 2010 they created the bully prevention program Mushin-The Art of Self-Control. Master Strickland has taught this program to thousands of students.

On March 12, 2011 Master Strickland earned his 8 degree Grand Master rank from Mr. Mike Gardner.
